How to Use BitLocker Status

Steps

1. Open Device Utility.
2. Click Tools.
3. Open Utilities.
4. Select BitLocker Status.
5. Review the displayed BitLocker information.
6. If needed, click Refresh to reload the results.
7. Use Copy or Save if you want to keep the output.
8. If a recovery-key sync or escrow action is available, follow the on-screen prompts carefully before continuing.

What This Tool Does

BitLocker Status can help you:

• review current BitLocker state
• view related encryption details
• check management context
• review available recovery-key actions

Notes

• Some actions may require elevation. (Such as being able to see the BitLocker Recovery Key)
• Recovery-key and escrow-related actions should only be used by authorized users or IT staff.
